You would think that if it is on the shelf then it would be safe.

Wrong!

Corporations are in the business of making money. With that being said, you can expect corners to be cut and fillers to be added. Fillers provide nothing interms of nutrition.

Some companies go as far as adding harmful chemicals to better preserve the food all while hoping it will not make a difference. Other companies have been found guilty of neglecting facility cleanliness because the end consumer is an animal.
